Excited to use alcohol based ink for today’s technique in the Creative Chemistry series from Online Card Classes. We chose light, medium and dark alcohol ink colors in the same color family to apply to the tag. For this project, since I only have a few individual colors of the Adirondack alcohol inks, I used Copic alcohol inks. Starting with the lightest color on top, we applied the ink with the Ranger ink applicator tool on to Alcohol Ink Cardstock. Next we applied the medium color to the mid section of the card and then moved on to the darkest color at the bottom of the card. We then used some Blending Solution over the entire card to blend it all together. The final step was to stamp images of our choice with Archival Ink and then heat to set.
I got so excited to share this with you I forgot to mount it to the tag before photographing!
